Horseback riding lessons are offered year-round, from the beginner to the more experienced rider wishing to compete. Lessons are available to both children and adult riders.
Both individual and group lessons are available, to best suit the rider’s goal – whether it be riding for pleasure or competing, Mountain View Equestrian Centers adapt to the needs of each specific rider.

Our positive approach to horseback riding at our top quality facility makes Gold Coast Equestrian one of the top equestrian centers on Long Island.
Trainers at Mountain View Equestrian Centers are well qualified with over 50 years of combined training experience to instruct beginner through advanced riders on 50+ wonderful school horses in Europe and North America. Lesson prices start at £70 per half hour and £100 per hour. New riders are encouraged to sign up for our horseback riding 3 Lesson Introductory Package for £170!
For children ages 4 & 5, we offer our “pony kids” program. Kids learn a combination of horsemanship and barn safety, along with a fun riding lesson!
Lessons are available as follows:
Tuesday-Friday 10am-8pm
Saturday-Sunday 8:30am-5:00pm
